Overview

We begin the walk meeting in the car park at Waters Edge Country Park, Barton upon Humber. Walking along the southern bank of the Humber,we pass the Waters Edge Country Park, and proceed by some old clay pits.Arriving at Barrow Haven Reedbeds,we walk by Barrow Haven Railway Station, and head to West Marsh Lane. We then walk to Pasture Road South. From here we head back to the cars via the Waters Edge Country Park.

☕  The Waters Edge Cafe is open from 9am until 4pm so if needed there will be an opportunity for a hot drink, and refreshments before the walk.

🚾  Toilets available 

🦆  Waters Edge Country Park is set in  picturesque woodland, Wetlands and wildflower meadows that offers many varieties of birds.

🌉  The toll charge to across the Humber is £1.50, one way.Regret card only.

  New walkers welcome, but please make yourself known to the walk leader before we set off

🐕  Dogs welcome on short leads please. 

🥾  A flat walk suitable for all walking abilities. At the time of the recce  the walk was a bit muddy in parts.
