Starting from Fromebridge Mill car park we follow the Stroudwater Navigation towards Saul Junction. This area of the canal is being restored and it is interesting to see the activity to date. We continue following the route of the canal to the River Severn. We return via Saul admiring the interesting architecture in the village on the way and continue our walk back to Fromebridge Mill along the banks of the River Frome. There are several stiles and it will be muddy! Poles will be useful.
