Overview

The protection afforded by the national Trust has enabled biodiversity conservation, so that we can experience an otherwise lost landscape with a variety of creatures great and small, dramatic skies and tranquility.

Grazing cattle and ponies are free to roam.  Do keep an eye out for marsh harriers and kingfishers.

It can as you would expect from the fens be wet and muddy.
